Course Description:
This advanced hands-on workshop equips beauty and wellness professionals with the essential skills to accurately analyze the hair and scalp using digital microscopy.
Class Duration: 3 hours | Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Students will learn how to identify visual indicators of scalp imbalance, hair shaft damage, and internal dysfunctions that manifest through the scalp.
Participants will train with a wireless digital microscope to observe the scalp and follicles in real time, document findings, and interpret what they see with a holistic lens. Through guided practice, participants will gain the confidence to recognize patterns of thinning, inflammation, buildup, and other conditions commonly seen in clinical Trichology.
In addition to technical mastery, students will explore how to:
Incorporate microscopic analysis into their current services to increase credibility and income potential
Price and package scalp analysis consultations effectively
Develop customized holistic protocols using the included Holistic Protocol Workbook
Serve as first responders in identifying scalp and hair concerns that require advanced or medical referral
Students will receive a wireless microscope, training manual, and protocol workbook as part of this immersive experience.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
Operate a digital microscope and perform scalp and hair strand evaluations.
Identify visible signs of scalp disorders, buildup, and structural hair damage.
Apply holistic and herbal-based recommendations based on microscopic findings.
Create a pricing structure and integration plan for incorporating scalp analysis into their existing business model.
Academic & Professional Credit:
1 Academic Credit toward the Trichology Certification Program or Degree Pathway in Trichology Science, NeoTrichology, or Herbal Medicine.
6 CE Hours applicable for continuing education credit for licensed professionals.
